Cocktail dinner
September 16th 2026
The Ferment Fest cocktail dinner is a unique experience showcasing the richness and creativity of fermentation in Quebec.
For one evening, chefs, artisans and producers come together to offer a gourmet journey where fermented products take center stage as they are re-imagined through original and inspired bites.
Conceived as a moment for connection and discovery, this event highlights local expertise while offering the public an immersion into a bold and still relatively unknown culinary world.
This edition will take on a special dimension with the presence of our guest of honor, Sandor Katz, an international figure in fermentation, who will meet with the community and share his vision.
The cocktail dinner aligns with the festival's mission to introduce fermentation to a wider audience and make it accessible through a convivial and memorable experience.
Details to come!
Guest of honour of the 2026 edition of the festival:
Sandor Katz
The fermentation guru himself! Author of the books Wild Fermentation and The Art of Fermentation, two essential references in the field, Sandor Ellix Katz is cited as the activist who revived worldwide interest in fermentation and it’s ancestral traditions.
